Managing limits

Go to Settings > Budget & limits to control how many try-ons can be performed each day. Usage limits help you manage costs and prevent a single customer from exhausting your monthly allowance.

Try-ons per user per day

Use the slider to set the maximum number of try-ons a single customer (identified by browser session) can perform in one day. The default is 4. You can set this anywhere from 1 to 10.

Tip: Setting this to 3-5 gives customers enough tries to find the right look without running through your budget too quickly.

Total try-ons per day

Use the second slider to cap the total number of try-ons across all customers for the day. TryX automatically hides the try-on button for the rest of the day. (Example - Shoppers with previous try-ons can still view them, but can’t create new ones until the limit resets. New shoppers won’t see the try-on button during this time.)

What happens when a limit is reached
  • Per-user limit — once an individual customer hits their daily limit, the try-on button is hidden for them for the rest of the day.
  • Total daily limit — once the total cap is reached, the button is hidden for all customers until midnight.
In both cases, customers see no error message — the button simply isn't there. This keeps the experience clean.

Need higher limits?

Limits are tied to your monthly budget and plan. To increase them, go to the Monthly budget section and click Manage budget to upgrade or add more budget.
